BABAS Architecture is a company owned and operated by Architect Baber Mahmood who got his Bachelors degree in architecture from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, U.S.A.   He did his ‘A’ level from Aitchison College, Lahore, and ‘O’ level from Sadiq Public School, Bahawalpur.

BABAS Architecture is primarily involved in buying property, building and selling its own projects. The Company has done three town houses projects in Gulberg, Lahore, Pakistan:

 (1)  50-D1, Gulberg-III, Lahore.

(2)  17-T, Gulberg-II, Lahore.

(3)  37-C1, Gulberg-III, Lahore.

And  various 500 sq.yds houses in different Phases of DHA, Lahore.

Besides being involved in Company's own building and selling Babas Architecture has done various residential projects for selective clients. Clients may not be the main economic source of the company but  have contributed greatly to the various challenges of designed living and knowledge of creating a dream environment for them. Most of the pictures in this web site are works done for clients. Varied requirements create amazing results.

Baber Mahmood is also one of the five brothers who own BABAS Engineering (Pvt) Limited, located at 16 km, Multan road, Lahore. The five brothers who own BABAS Engineering (Pvt.) Limited are: Shafqat Mahmood,  Basharat Mahmood, Baber Mahmood,  Amir Mahmood, and Aezad Mahmood.

The Name “BABAS”:

It should also be mentioned here that the name of the company BABAS is compiled by the first name initials of the above mentioned five brothers. The name BABAS was formed after the nick name of the family’s paternal great grand father  who lived up to the ripe old age of over 100 and was referred to as ‘baba’ in the family and his descendents are known as babas.
